Random side thoughts

  1. Came up with a new pick up line. You start by asking the guy ¨how do you say ´can I have your phone number´(in whatever language they spoke)¨ and then when they said it, you give them your phone number! Worked like a charm!

  2. Tried to come up with our own language so people would stop staring at us! Amanda is very successful at coming up with unique languages. It didn´t cover us up all that well though.

  3. We have succedded at blowing out several outlets and converters. Blow dryers suck. We really smelled up the wonderful Esquine´s house with our straightener this morning. But have had some good laughs about that. Maria blew the entire hotel room´s power outlets. Good times!

  4. Graffiti is popular in Barcelona, and we hope to practice it when we get home. It´s actually quite unique and pretty!

  5. Gilatio is definetly a good comfort food for us all. Its good breakfast, noon, and evening!

  6. Pizza without sauce is never worth seven euros. Just get bread instead!

  7. Boys break hearts.

  8. Buying multiple metro passes is stupid. All you need is one.

  9. Spain´s metro system is actually not usually this dirty. Their cleaners are on strike.

  10. Passports are important. Don´t forget them on the trains.

...and to think that I offered the use of my cute little (multi-national) propane curling iron. Alas, it was refused. And sniffed at. Serves you right.

You gals are a laugh a minute. Who would ever need a comic book with your blog around? I definely agree that Leann's Mom should head for Europe and if I were her, I would hurry.

Correction: It's not "Esquine´s house"...it's "Escuain's house"--from Escuain, our surname...Don't worry, a good 95% of people misspell our surname... XD

Good to have known you and it was a shame the fountains in Montjuic-Barcelona didn't go on the first day of the year...

Good you got your camera in time as well...I was driving like crazy like never before...In any case I'm glad I ran faster than the train!

Take care and enjoy the rest of Europe!

Greetings to all you from one of your "fans"!

Andrew (nº 2 in the family-the guy that drove you all to the train station) :-D

uhh Nat...what's this about the passport being left on the train?? Girls, didn't I say something about my needing to come along and carry the passports for you!!

Very seriously, girls. Next time you all need to ask your moms along...and your dads. That way you won't talk in meeting, talk to boys, give out phone numbers, eat ice cream morning, noon and night. I'm starting to worry. When I said to have fun I didn't think you would have this much fun! That being said be good and have fun!!

Thanks for keeping up all this blogging you guys! It's great to be able to see (uh, read) what you're up to. I want some pictures!

Look there, with the whole lot you are, you could assign one or two of you to process and upload pictures (at least one of you is traveling with a laptop). Your blog reads like Jerome K. Jerome's Three Englishmen in Germany, but we live in the image age!! 8D

By the way, whose was the lone white short sock I found in our sitting room after you left? (Another thing for mommies to worry, their girls being left with widowed socks in their luggage). I hope good ol' (now 23!!) Nathan had time to give it to you as you went leisurely to the train from Barcelona to Paris ... :/

Hi! I completely feel with Mom A. It is a bit scary when the girls dont blog or email for 2-3 days...it's easy to worry. Last time I emailed Charlene she assured me they were more than fine but busy. :) I guess no news is good news? But it will be good to hear from you all! Love ya! Mom H.
